Location: From Townsend, go east 2 miles on US 12, 10 miles north on MT-284, about 15 miles east on Duck Creek Road #139, then south less than a mile to the campground. Alternately, go 16 miles west from White Sulfur Springs on Birch Creek Road, then south on FR 8961 into the campground.

Description: 5 campsites on Gipsy Lake. Fishing for rainbow trout, hand launch for non-motorized boats. A hiking trail goes south from the campground into the Big Belt Mountains, past several spectacular mountain lakes, to an area called the Needles, for its odd rock formations. This area was known for its extremely productive gold mines in the 19th century, and historic mines are near the campground. Motorized travel on area trails is prohibited on some area trails to protect the wildlife.
